PE Kit

If students are unable to physically participate, they MUST bring a note to their lesson with their PE kit so that they can participate in the role of a coach / umpire or official.

Please be aware that studded boots are essential for students wishing to participate in competitive rugby games because trainers / astro boots or moulded boots DO NOT provide a sure enough footing on wet grass. Moulded boots / Astroturf trainers are ideal for all other outdoor lessons.

Students MUST wear the correct PE kit for all lessons. The students are encouraged to check the weather forecast and plan accordingly.

All students are expected to have the required PE kit available from our approved suppliers:


Outdoor PE Kit

  • Polo shirt with 3 buttons OR fitted V-neck polo shirt. Black and grey with maroon piping and school badge. 
  • ¼ Zip sweater.
  • Shorts OR Skinny jogger (black and grey piping) OR dance leggings (black with grey detail).
  • Long socks (maroon edging).
  • Base layer (black skins) .
  • Trainers – Converse & Vans style pumps are NOT suitable.
  • Boots – suitable for a 3G pitch (moulded studs or astro trainers).
  • Shin pads.

Additional Compulsory Items

  • Black gloves for activities such as cross country, orienteering and football
  • Studded boots for students playing competitive rugby
  • Mouth guard / Kit bag / carrier bag for muddy trainers / boots
  • Spare bobbles / roll on deodorant – for the safety and comfort of all students
  • Sports Bra – (if required for comfort) 
  • Sun cream should be applied before school during the summer term
  • Water bottle

Indoor PE Kit

  • Polo shirt with 3 buttons OR fitted V-neck polo shirt. Black and grey with maroon piping and school badge. 
  • Shorts OR Skort OR Dance leggings (black with grey detail).
  • Long socks (maroon edging).
  • Trainers – Converse & Vans style pumps are NOT suitable.

Additional Compulsory Items

  • Kit bag / carrier bag for muddy trainers, spare bobbles / roll on deodorant (no aerosols, for the safety and comfort of all students).
  • Water bottle.
  • Spare bobbles / roll on deodorant.
  • Sports Bra – (if required for comfort)

Students MUST wear the correct PE kit for all lessons and students may shower after every lesson if they wish to do so. 

Students are encouraged to bring their tracksuits for outdoor lessons.

If students are unable to participate as a performer, they are expected to bring a note to their lesson and must still bring their PE kit so that they can participate within another role i.e. coach / umpire / official.
 

Parents and Carers are encouraged to ensure that all items of school uniform and equipment are clearly labelled with the student’s name
