WeFest26

We are delighted to announce the launch of our first-ever Westleigh Edge Enrichment Week (WeFest26) for Key Stage 3 students, taking place from Monday 6th July to Friday 10th July 2026. During this week, Year 10 students will be undertaking work experience placements as part of The Westleigh Edge programme.

As part of our commitment to providing exceptional opportunities beyond the classroom, WeFest26 has been designed to inspire students, develop new skills, broaden horizons, and create lasting memories as they approach the end of the academic year.

Throughout the week, students will take part in an exciting programme of enrichment activities, including a dedicated educational trip and a range of engaging experiences carefully selected to support learning across a variety of subjects and interests. They will benefit from a high-quality programme delivered by subject departments, offering opportunities to explore new areas of learning, build confidence, and develop valuable personal and social skills.

Students in Years 7, 8 and 9 will participate in a wide range of activities, including educational visits, STEM challenges, community and charity projects, leadership opportunities, and team-based competitions. The programme has been carefully structured to ensure that every year group experiences each of these key activities throughout the week, providing a varied and balanced enrichment experience for all.

The week will culminate in a whole-school celebration on Friday, featuring Sports Day, outdoor games, an open-air concert, a summer fayre, and a host of other exciting activities. This celebration will provide students with the opportunity to showcase their achievements, enjoy time with their peers, and reflect on the experiences gained throughout the week.
